Nashville Engagement Photoshoot

As many of you know, I've been engaged for a little over a year and a half and it's finally getting into crunch time! We'll be getting married in Nashville this September and at the end of last month we finally had time to take a trip and not only see the area again, but finally get some wedding things done - and that included our engagement photoshoot! Don't worry I'll be doing a What I Wore next week to fill you in on the outfit I wore during out shoot but I'm taking this week to brag on our amazing photographer and show off how beautiful the shoot turned out.

I'll have to admit, when we first got to Nashville for our wedding planning weekend, I was incredibly nervous about the weather... it was cold and rainy with no signs of clearing up and our shoot was scheduled for sunset photos in a beautiful park near downtown. (For those of you that have kept up with the blog, I did at What I Wore at Centennial Park - that's where our photoshoot shoot was SUPPOSED to take place!) Although we had to make some last minute backup plans and it actually turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

I called our venue and asked if we could relocate to our gorgeous venue for the photoshoot and thankfully they agreed! I mean who could complain about getting to spend time at this place?! Am I right! It was also nice to get a feel for our venue and get some great ideas for some day of photos to take on our actual wedding day!

Also I have to brag on our photographer Zoe from Zoe Life Photography, she did such an amazing job and came with some great ideas and we couldn't be happier with how the photos turned out. After dozens of e-mails back and forth it was such a relief that she was as great in person as the person I'd been e-mailing with. I know with wedding planning for a destination wedding, not getting to meet people up-font can be nerve wracking so I'm so thankful it turned out the way it did!

And for those wondering, now that I've really gotten into wedding planning, I'll be posting some wedding posts here and there about planning tips and covering our wedding and all the details - so stay tuned!

Have a great week and I'll see you next time!

-Jennifer Nicole
